This holiday season presents several new offerings - Cappella Romana's excellent holiday release "Kontakion for the Nativity of Christ" follows up on the heels of their critically acclaimed 2-CD English Divine Liturgy set.

We also offer two new crosses to our catalog - a simple relief slavonic style cross with the "Save and Protect" inscription and a slightly more rugged tri-bar cross for daily wear.

We are also pleased to present the Children's Bible Reader - Spanish Edition, which is available now, as well as a number of academic bible study resources including the revised Septuaginta, a critical edition of the Gospel of John according to the Byzantine Tradition and others.

"O Lord Jesus Christ, Son of God, have mercy on me". This prayer has been on the lips of Christians since the time of the Desert Fathers. What is its history? How do we make it our own prayer? This booklet traces the development of the Jesus Prayer through the early centuries of the Church, and follows its progression through Mount Athos, the teachings of St Gregory Palamas and others, and discusses its modern revival in the 19th and 20th centuries. Concludes with a brief discussion of how this prayer can be appropriated by the individual believer today.
