The "eklogadia" were a class of liturgical books that contain the scriptural readings and practices for the ecclesiastical year. This volume was put together to provide Orthodox Christians with access to its rich legacy. Full liturgical greek epistles and gospel texts for all Sundays and included, as well as the major feasts of Christ, the Theotokos, as well as major saints. A modern greek translation alongside each reading. This volume was produced by the Apostoliki Diakonia of the Church of Greece and the Greek Bible Society.
