A New Orthodox Marketplace Website is Coming!

The Orthodox Marketplace online web store and the Department of Religious Education's catalog store are in the process of merging operations.

While we are working out the details of this transition, the Orthodox Marketplace website will suspend sales functionality of the site. Customers will be able to browse the catalog, log in and check on the status of outstanding orders and order history (including downloads).

However, the cart and checkout features will be disabled.

If you wish to purchase items in the interim, a subset of our product catalog is still available from our Amazon Storefront.

You may also wish to purchase items from the Department of Religious Education Resource Guide, available below. The DRE can be reached via their toll-free number: 1-800-566-1088.

We expect the new Orthodox Marketplace and Resource Center website to launch later this summer.

Then Jesus said to them, "these are my words which I spoke to you, while I was still with you, that everything written about me in the law of Moses and the prophets and the psalms must be fulfilled." Then he opened their minds to the Scriptures.

- Luke 24:44-45

Images of Christ, cast as shadows in Old Testament texts, illuminate this book of biblical prophecy for young and old alike. Illustrator Niko Chocheli creates a stunning graphic dialog between the voice of the prophets and the coming Christ who eternally rests in their words. The Son of Man whom Daniel saw in night visions, the Branch of Jesse whom Isaiah saw shoot forth, and the apparitions of other prophets emerge as vivid icons of our Lord.

Niko Chocheli was born in Tbilisi, Republic of Georgia, where he graduated with honors from Tbilisi Nikoladze Art College and Tbilisi State Academy of Fine Arts. Awarded permanent residency status by the U.S. government as Alien of Extraordinary Abilities, Niko has received numerous awards for is artistic achievements. He has illustrated three other children's books for SVS Press, The Book of Jonah, The Praises, and Prepare O Bethlehem! All of which have been praised for artistic originality. Niko lives in Pennsylvania with his wife Kristin, where he runs his own art school.
