A New Orthodox Marketplace Website is Coming!

The Orthodox Marketplace online web store and the Department of Religious Education's catalog store are in the process of merging operations.

While we are working out the details of this transition, the Orthodox Marketplace website will suspend sales functionality of the site. Customers will be able to browse the catalog, log in and check on the status of outstanding orders and order history (including downloads).

However, the cart and checkout features will be disabled.

If you wish to purchase items in the interim, a subset of our product catalog is still available from our Amazon Storefront.

You may also wish to purchase items from the Department of Religious Education Resource Guide, available below. The DRE can be reached via their toll-free number: 1-800-566-1088.

We expect the new Orthodox Marketplace and Resource Center website to launch in 2016.

A comprehensive encyclopedia and glossary of Orthodox terms, theology, history, and facts from A to Z.

“The Complete Book of Orthodoxy” contains 400 pages and over 3,000 entries defining terms used in the Orthodox Church. In addition to the author’s vast research it includes submissions from Orthodox bishops, priests and educators who were kind enough to share items they have collected over the years.

“The Complete Book of Orthodoxy” includes the most commonly accepted definitions used in the Orthodox Church. It does not espouse any extreme approach but attempts to communicate the accepted “mind of the Church.” One often needs an extensive library to research and study Orthodoxy. “The Complete Book of Orthodoxy” serves the reader well and should be an invaluable addition to any collection. It will be on the desk of all Orthodox faithful and inquirers alike. This book should be at hand for every Orthodox priest, Sunday School teacher and layman’s use

George W. Grube’s most recent works, “What the Church Fathers Say About ...” (Vol. 1 and 2) published by Light and Life Press, have been best sellers for several years and are now in multiple printings. George holds an undergraduate degree from State University New York and graduate degrees in education, history, theology from Trinity College Washington and Angelicum Rome. He is presently doing additional graduate work in Special Education. He will soon embark on the last phase of a doctorate in Church History. He is also an avid proponent of Orthodoxy in a Western milieu. Continuing in a career in education, the author of “The Complete Book of Orthodoxy” is presently teaching at a correctional facility and conducts a personal prison ministry by corresponding with inmates at various facilities throughout the country.
