I have a product I'd like you to review. How do I go about it?

At the moment, product submissions and catalog inclusions occur on a limited basis for unestablished presses. If you wish to have your items listed on the Orthodox Marketplace and carried at our warehouse, there are a number of things that you should consider:

• Is my product consistent? - It is difficult for us to sell one-of-a-kind items, or items that vary in quality or tone within a single batch. If a customer would likely receive a product that is substantially different from what is represented in photos on the website, we would not be able to sell it.
• Does my product require customization? - We don't have the ability or the facilities to do made-to-order customization in-house. We are not presently in a position where pushing orders out to third parties is financially possible because of prohibitive additional freight costs.
• How does my product compare to other items in the same genre? - We get requests to view products that have been developed independently - sometimes without an appreciation for the level of quality that our customers have grown to rely on and expect. While we do not wish to discourage creative people from making new products, we encourage anyone looking to operate commercially to look at other products in the marketplace. Does the quality of competing products overshadow your offering? It will likely only sell when no other items are available, and the customer return rate on such items is historically high. Returns cost everyone money.
• Can I scale up production if necessary (at least temporarily)? - We have had popular products in the past disappear because of supply chains drying up. While we understand this is a part of doing business - especially when the retail sector is volatile - it creates customer service issues when popular items are suddenly unavailable. We have not had issues with product being unavailable due to small production runs that could not keep up, however it is also a consideration.
