I am a webmaster for a parish or SCOBA organization. How do we participate?
If you are a parish webmaster within the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese, you may already have an affiliate account and plan assignment in place. Parishes were mailed letters about the affiliate plan in 2006. We realize that personnel for website maintenance have frequent turnover - the person who first received this information may no longer be there.
If you are unsure about the status of your parish and the affiliate program, here's how to proceed:
- Visit the Free Online Bookstore promotional page: http://www.goarch.org/freebookstore - and look for your parish. They are organized by state.
- View the link address for your given parish. It will follow the form of http://www.orthodoxmarketplace.com/?partner=AF-#-###-##
- The 'partner' code is the login for the given parish. A randomized hash password was created and mailed with login instructions to each parish. Using this user name and password, you can sign into your affiliate account in order to view statistics and grab a basic text or product banner, view statistics, current commission levels and associated orders, etc.
- It is not necessary to log in to create these links. Webmasters familiar with GETSTRING syntax can create referral links based on any destination page on the orthodox marketplace by simply including the 'partner' key-value pair at the end of the URL or other variables.
If you cannot find your parish name, feel free to contact the Internet Ministries office with the name and location of your parish, and we will get the information from your respective Chancellor's office to create the account. We will need to get the authorization of the current residing or serving parish priest to authorize access to the account.
